Casandra Properties is thrilled to announce in the Commercial Observer the latest lease we successfully negotiated at Empire Outlets, Levi Strauss & Company. “We are thrilled Levi’s, a concept new to the Staten Island market, will now have the opportunity to sell its product to masses of tourists and residents as diverse and rich in culture and history as the Levi’s brand”, said James Prendamano.
Levi’s joins retail giants such as H&M, Gap, Banana Republic, Nordstrom Rack and Brooks Brothers among many others. Casandra Properties has served as the exclusive leasing broker for the 340,000-square foot center adjacent to the Staten Island Ferry terminal, the second busiest ferry terminal in the country featuring 24.1 million trips per year via the 2300 public transportation opportunities per day!
Casandra Properties, Inc. has been involved since the inception of the project, over eight years ago, when our very own James Prendamano was hired to help usher the project through the New York City’s complicated Uniform Land Use review process. With nearly 75% of the center leased we are looking forward to opening in mid-November.
Empire Outlets is the first of its kind, breaking the mold of the traditional outlet mall. Long gone are the days burning several hours to visit a plain jane center in the middle of a cornfield in suburbia. Empire Outlets offers the modern-day shopper a dramatic venue on the NYC harbor with access to massive amounts of Tourism and public transportation. Casandra properties has played a key role redefining how outlet shopping gets done in a modern-day environment that demands convenience and a world class location. . We are proud to have played an integral role in such a groundbreaking project here on Staten Island. Casandra Properties, Inc., looks forward to continuing to raise the bar and change how people view Staten Island real estate.
